You’re welcome to come to the venue and start setting up from 08h00 am with breakdown occurring straight after your event. If you would like to book a set-up day or strike day (additional day), the cost is R16k ex VAT. in Katy’s and R13k ex VAT. in Sir James.
The venue closes @ 02h00.
Exclusivity of the venue from 08h00 am until 02h00 am. The furniture is included. 3 phase power – 63amp (Katy’s). Backup generator. Fully equipped kitchen, if using our preferred caterers. Sufficient bathrooms. Functioning fireplace (Katy’s). Staffing (1 doorman, 1 night manager, 2 car guards, and 2 cleaners).

Yes, you can bring in an external caterer, which will add a flat rate of R5k ex VAT kitchen surcharge for the use of our kitchen.
The Palace Bar Company will oversee the bar for all events. For a private event, you may bring in a maximum of 48 bottles of Wine @ R75 / Local MCC @ R75 / French @ R125.
Yes, we can put you in touch with our preferred sound and AV suppliers who will then quote you on your specific needs.
We have ample street parking for any events that occur after 5 pm as all surrounding businesses close. We will have car guards patrolling the street to ensure the safety of the vehicles. For day functions during the week, the parking is quite limited due to the surrounding businesses being in operation (we suggest Ubering or organizing a form of transport that can drop clients off).
