What is the cost to hire out Katy’s Palace?

To be discussed as every function is different.

What time can we come in to start set up & what time do we need to finish by?

You have exclusive hire of the venue from 09h00 on the day of your function until 24h00. If you require the venue a day prior to or post the event a fee of R10 000 applies.

What time does Katy’s Close?

The venue closes @ 02h00.

What is included in the venue hire?

Exclusive hire of Katy’s Palace Bar, Event Manager, Cleaning Staff and Security.

Can I bring in my own caterer?

We do have our preferred caterers and we can tailor make the menu to suite your requirements.

Can we bring in our own alcohol?

Unfortunately, no. Though Katy’s Palace Bar is fully stocked to accommodate your guests’ requirements.

Is there secure parking available?

We have parking outside and dedicated car guards are on patrol.

What is NOT included in the venue hire?

Sound, lighting, entertainment, AV and staging, specialist function décor and styling and a bouncer (compulsory). We also do recommendations should you need any.

Can we use our own suppliers?

Yes, you may source your own suppliers for décor and entertainment as well as photographers, videographers, etc.

Can you arrange AV Equipment?

Yes, we can quote & supply on sound, lighting & AV equipment.

With regards to hiring, do we need to hire-in directly or can you hire in for us?

Katy’s Palace is more than happy to hire in items on your behalf.
